Latest Highlights
Woman of the Year TCM 6:00 pm  ET

In this classic George Stevens-directed 1942 romantic comedy, Katharine Hepburn and real love Spencer Tracy -- in their first screen teaming -- play journalists whose dedication to work causes trouble at home. The screenplay earned an Oscar; Fay Bainter and Reginald Owen co-star.

Smallville CW 8:00 pm  ET

Superhero twins Jayna and Zan (guest stars Allison Scagliotti and David Gallagher) come to Metropolis to help The Blur fight crime but end up landing Clark (Tom Welling) in hot water after they botch several rescues. Eventually, Clark decides to come forward as The Blur to clear his name with the district attorney's office. Allison Mack, Erica Durance and Justin Hartley also star in the new episode "Idol."

Invitation Only: Tim McGraw CMT 9:00 pm  ET

Taped earlier in Nashville, this one-hour special features country star Tim McGraw performing some of his biggest hits as well as numbers from "Southern Voice," his latest album, and answering questions from an intimate studio audience. Songs include "Something Like That," "My Best Friend" and "The Cowboy in Me."

The Game Plan USA 7:00 pm  ET

Here we go again with the long-lost child plot. Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) stars in this mediocre but inoffensive 2007 comedy as an egotistical football star whose world is turned upside down when he discovers he has a daughter (Madison Pettis). Not having a clue what to do with her, he relies on the advice of fun-loving teammates and his bitter agent (Kyra Sedgwick). But the person with the best advice turns out to be the kid's ballet teacher (Roselyn Sanchez), who's not impressed by his stardom. Morris Chestnut and Paige Turco co-star.

House FOX 8:00 pm  ET

A man (guest star Mos Def) awakens in a New York hospital after a bicycle accident, unable to move or communicate. House (Hugh Laurie), assigned to an adjacent bed following a motorcycle mishap, diagnoses the patient as having "locked-in syndrome" and gets him transferred to Princeton-Plainsboro, where the team tries to "unlock" him. Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) is more suspicious of why House refuses to divulge why he was in New York.

Mad Max AMC 8:00 pm  ET

Director George Miller's 1979 futuristic actioner sparked a cult phenomenon that spawned two sequels. Mel Gibson stars as Mad Max Rockatansky, a police officer whose family is murdered by a group of lawless bikers. Daring to enter the Forbidden Zone, an Australian wasteland occupied by thieves and murderers, Mad Max seeks vengeance. His slow descent into a mental and emotional hell is as much a focus as the action.

Medium CBS 9:00 pm  ET

You know your kids are growing up when they start hanging around with suspected killers. In this new episode, Allison (Patricia Arquette) thinks that her daughter Ariel's (Sofia Vassilieva) new boyfriend might have killed a man. Speaking of kids growing up, Bridgette (Maria Lark) gets in trouble for posting embarrassing photos of someone on the Internet. Amy Pietz ("Caroline in the City," "Aliens in America") guest stars in "Once in a Lifetime."

Pathfinder FXEAST 9:00 pm  ET

After being left behind by fellow Vikings during a raid, a young man -- played as an adult by Karl Urban -- is caught between loyalties and cultures in this violent 2007 drama. Raised by those who survived the assault staged by his people, he's torn when another Viking assault is planned. Moon Bloodgood ("Journeyman"), Clancy Brown and Russell Means ("The Last of the Mohicans") also star for director Marcus Nispel, who remade "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."

Ugly Betty ABC 9:00 pm  ET

When Hilda and Betty (Ana Ortiz, America Ferrera) learn that a one-time "bad boy" (Adam Rodriguez), who was an old flame of Hilda's and crush of Betty's, is teaching at Justin's (Mark Indelicato) school, they start doubting their attraction to the nice guys in their lives. Marc (Michael Urie) offers Justin advice on fitting in. Daniel (Eric Mabius) introduces Amanda (Becki Newton) to the Community of the Phoenix in the new episode "Backseat Betty."

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior AMC 10:00 pm  ET

Set in post-apocalyptic Australia, this well-done 1981 sequel to 1979's "Mad Max" finds the title character, ex-cop Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson), helping a small community with a supply of the future's scarcest and most precious commodity: gasoline. He agrees to drive a tanker full of fuel to the coast, where the group can be safe from the ferocious bandits trying to steal it. The chase scene is one of filmdom's best.

RV TBS 10:15 pm  ET

This movie should have been titled "When Good Actors Go Bad" or "When an Inanimate Object Is the Main Character." Not that vehicles as the focus of movies are bad things: for example, there are "The Love Bug," "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and, of course, the delightful "Cars." But this 2006 film starring Robin Williams as a father who decides to take the clan on a motor-home adventure isn't even breathing in the exhaust fumes of the previously mentioned movies' goodness.

NBA Basketball ESPN 10:30 pm  ET

Talk to any NBA pundit, and he'll tell you the Lakers' offseason acquisition of Ron Artest was A) a masterstroke that guarantees them another NBA title or B) a foolish move that could threaten team stability. Either way, they're still the pick of many to be the class of the West this season, and tonight they take on the Nuggets in Denver, where the combustible forward figures to get a workout against Denver's high-scoring Carmelo Anthony.
